Frequent Massage Program Membership Policy

The purpose of our Massage Membership is to help you maintain regular care for your body. Consistent massage can effectively reduce or eliminate issues caused by daily activities, poor posture, muscle overuse or underuse, body pain, limited range of motion, stiffness, poor circulation, injuries, toxin buildup, insomnia, and stress.  We encourage you to fully utilize your monthly credits and take advantage of the discounted member rates for additional sessions. Regular massages are the key to achieving the best possible results for your health and well-being.

Things to know about your membership:

Members who sign up online are charged immediately.

Members that sign up in the office can select when they want their payment to start.

All members are given the choice to have their automatic draft scheduled for the 1st or 15th of the month after signing up.

Memberships are non- joint; each member must have their own monthly draft.

Couples or friends who both have their own membership may use each other’s credits in the case that a circumstance occurs that prevents them from being able to use their own credits at no additional charge.

There is a $20 transferable fee if a member wants a nonmember to use their credits

All appointments must be booked under the name of the person that is coming in for the session, no matter the plan.

When members book specialty massages there is an additional fee charged for example: prenatal or add-ons

 

Auto – Draft Renewal

Recuperate Frequent Massage Program is a month-to-month program, which allows you to be able to cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice. At signup, there is no one-time enrollment fee, only an automatic draft that occurs on a month-to-month basis unless the program is terminated. Monthly drafts will be withdrawn on the 1st or 15th of each month on your preferred Credit Card on file.

 

Faulty Payments

Frequent Program must be purchased with a valid credit/debit card only.   Recuperate Massage must be notified of any change in billing address on file, contact, or credit card information. If a credit card is declined or automatic payment does not go through, you will receive a notification by email regarding your Membership Billing Error from Massage Book requesting you to update your payment method. Member must contact Recuperate Massage within 7 days to provide a new form of payment if they are not able to update it online. If Member fails to reach out within 7 days Recuperate Massage has the right to terminate the membership in the best interest of either party. Immediate termination of the membership will result in losing unused credits, no refunds will be given.

 

Pause Policy

There may be times when a member will need to pause his/her membership for a short period of time, due to circumstantial reasons such as military leave, pregnancy, healing from surgery, extended illness, financial hardship, etc. When a membership is paused the member is able to use any accrued credits, but no other benefits will apply until the program is active again.

You must be a member for at least 60 days to be eligible to pause your account. Memberships may be paused once during your annual contract period, for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 3 months. The member may designate a date to end their pause period. If no end date is given, membership will be paused for the full 3 months. At the end of the membership pause term, your draft will continue on your next scheduled auto draft date. To initiate a pause, submit a written request to Recuperate Massage to the following email recuperate@massagetherapy.com

 

Frequent Massage Program Cancellation

Immediate termination of the membership will result in losing unused credits, so members are given the option to pause their account for 30 days to use any remaining credits to prevent the loss of credits. After 30 days the account will be canceled. Please submit a 30-day written notice to cancel your membership in writing to recuperate@massagetherapy.com. Please understand that if your request is not made 30 days before your next draft date a refund will not be issued.

 

Appointment Cancellation/Late Policy

As a family-owned business, we understand that unexpected events can cause clients to need to reschedule or cancel appointments. While we wish we didn’t need a late cancellation or no-show policy, please understand that these instances affect us significantly. When appointments are missed, we lose the opportunity to serve other clients, and it creates inconvenience for our small business. This impact extends beyond just the client who misses the appointment, affecting everyone involved.  In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies apply: 
 

 

Late Cancellation

A 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us a 24-hour advance notice by call, text, or email before your scheduled appointment time, your card on file will be charged  the amount of ($40 per 60 min, $60 per 90 min, and $75 per 120 min) for your late cancellation. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

 

No-show/No-Call/No-Message

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason without contacting us the day of their appointment will be considered a “No-Show/No-Call/No-Message”.  Your card on file will be charged the full amount of the missed appointment, which must be paid before a new appointment can be scheduled.

 

Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment given at that time, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly.

 

Clients who repeatedly cancel late, no show, or do not follow our policies will have their booking privileges terminated.

We reserve the right to make changes to policies without prior notices to more effectively communicate as needed.
